Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Product Owner with strong experience in the Finance or Insurance domain to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in product management or product ownership, with a deep understanding of financial products, insurance processes, and digital transformation. This role will play a key part in defining the product vision, managing the roadmap, and ensuring successful delivery of features that align with business goals and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for finance/insurance-related products.
  • Gather, analyze, and prioritize business and customer requirements to deliver maximum product value.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with company strategy and project timelines.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure smooth product delivery.
  • Evaluate business value, market trends, and user feedback to guide product improvements and innovations.
  • Act as the main point of contact between business teams and technical teams.
  • Ensure that all product deliverables meet compliance, quality, and performance standards within the finance/insurance domain.
  • Support stakeholders in strategic decision-making based on market insights and data-driven analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably in Finance or Insurance sectors.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems, insurance products, and regulatory environments.
  • Proven ability to define and manage product roadmaps, prioritize features, and deliver high-quality releases.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically to solve complex business problems.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar product management platforms.
  • Understand NIGO, STP, TAT, and reinsurance workflows.
  • Own key KPIs: STP rate, NIGO rate, OCR accuracy, user adoption.
  • Familiar with KYC, AML, PEP, eKYC, IFRS 17.
  • Experience using OCR, NLP, or LLM for document automation.
  • Integrate with PAS, D365, DMS, or Claims systems.
  • Write PRDs and user stories in Gherkin.
  • Manage UAT, release notes, and rollout plans.
  • Ensure data security and PII compliance.
  • Coordinate with vendors for OCR, KYC, AML, and eSignature.
  • Build dashboards to monitor KPI and product performance.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with digital banking, insurtech, or data-driven product design.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles or user research methods.
  • Professional certifications such as PSPO, CSPO, or PMI-ACP.
  • Experience with non-life, health, and life insurance processes: New Business, Underwriting, Claims.
